![]() The 65,000-hectare Sabi Sands Game Reserve is located on the south-western corner of the Kruger National Park and is the birthplace of sustainable wildlife tourism in Southern Africa and is also the oldest of all the private reserves in South Africa. There are no restricting fences between the Kruger Park and Sabi Sands Reserve and the wildlife roams freely between the two game reserves. With breathtaking scenery, affordable and luxury accommodation and lodging, rich biodiversity and amazing wildlife encounters, Sabi Sand is the ultimate safari destination. Each lodge in the Sabi Sands is privately owned and managed, and the typical safari experience here combines the comfort and luxury of 4-star and 5-star accommodation with the thrill of open vehicle game drives, guided bush walks and "big five" wildlife sightings. The big five are known to be the 5 most dangerous animals to hunt, i.e. lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. Of course, no hunting is permitted in the Sabi Sands. The reserve is dedicated to the conservation of Africa's wildlife and biodiversity, supported by ecotourism.
