Balule Game Reserve

SOUTH AFRICA

AFRICA

Balule Game Reserve is situated adjacent to Kruger National Park and has a host of Big 5 wildlife roaming freely within the reserve. The Game Reserve was started some 14 years ago by local farmers, who agreed to drop their fences to allow the game to roam freely on their properties. It has since expanded into an area of approximately 35,000 hectares. The private game reserve has a river - the Olifants River - flowing through it and many of the lodges are located on this river.
