![]() Herold's Bay lies approx 24km from George and 19km from Mossel Bay. It is nestled in a sheltered rocky cove where the golden beach sands meet the frothy, turquoise waters of the ocean. It offers great coastal walks and trails ideal for spotting dolphins and whales. The unspoilt coastal fynbos makes it a popular spot for birders and nature-lovers. Vantage points such as Voelklip (bird rock) , Skotsebank (scottish bank) and Rooikransies (red ledges) are known to anglers throughout the country. The seaside village is very quiet and its wide stretch of sheltered beach make it perfect for relaxing. All the attractions of the town of George are only 20 minutes from Herold's Bay.
