Camps Bay has long been a favourite destination for overseas visitors to Cape Town. Nestled beneath Lions Head and the majestic Twelve Apostles, it's sandy, white beaches are fringed with palm trees giving it a 'South of France' feel. The cosmopolitan beachfront is vibrant throughout the year and many cafes and restaurants have their tables spilling out into the street.

Camps Bay is a long stretch of white, sandy, palm tree-lined beach and only a short drive over Kloof Nek takes you to the city centre. The beach is protected by the mountains from the wind for the most part and on hot days the cold water in Camps Bay makes an exhilarating swim or there is a seawater pool at the southern end of the beach. Camps Bay is trendy and locals and visitors come here to be seen. It is close to the beaches of Clifton, Table Mountain cableway and the V&A Waterfront.
